I have to add a rare review about this sophisticated little gem, steeped with centuries of history on the edge of the world! Well worth a visit to..."The Old Point House" Pembrokeshire, as the culinary delights and local rums will not disappoint. Highly recommend the freshly caught Lobster Rarebit or Mackerel from the specials board and the fruity succulent homemade Barti Rum Raisin Cake topped with homemade ice cream. All prepared and cooked by an incredibly talented young lady called Charlie in the kitchen! (See last photo!) We felt most obliged to meet the person at the heart of this mastery! Thank you to the entire team for making us most welcome and well done to all for creating such a perfect retreat! X

We found this lovely little pub on our holiday& ate there. Best veggie burger I’ve ever had I absolutely loved the home made pickles/ Kimchi in it. Kids had great kids meals lovely quality, ate every scrap! Husband had chowder type thing& said it was really good. All at a really reasonable price for standard pub grub and a brilliant price for this quality! Amazing setting, really friendly staff - looked after us& even got the hound a blanket & treat! Worth checking tide times unless you’re happy to be stranded in a great pub for a while longer! Hope to be back again one day!

Absolute gem of a place. Top quality food - great ingredients, nothing fussy, but everything with a bit of a twist that elevated it a mile above standard pub grub. Friendly service and great views too. We'll definitely be back (and will try not to leave at high tide next time!).

Stopped here for food. It is mostly seafood with a sea salt and seaweed blend of spices added. My wife had pork belly from the specials menu, I had the burger, both were excellent. Dog friendly inside and out, great views of the sea and a coastal path to follow. Lots of period features inside such as the stove that had a lit fire continually for 300 years using ‘culm’ a mix of coal dust and ocean slime. Toilets are noted as having 16th century plumbing. Prince William has visited here. Local beers and produce available. Great place

We had the most amazing dinner for 12 this evening. The food was excellent, the atmosphere perfect for a family birthday celebration. The 3 young children loved the garden and the view was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I shared the wonderful fresh oysters for starter. I had a lovely pasta for mains which was fresh, delicious and had a generous serving of crab.

Came for the food, which was unreal- we had the burger and the chowder. Such a quaint, charming pub, tucked away in a quiet spot. The food alone deserves to make this place better known. Hopefully, we’ll be back next year!

Fantastic in all respects. Haven't been here since the new owners took over but heard lots of good things - they were right! Simple "standard" menu of pub food (burgers etc) but with a fabulous specials board made up entirely of locally caught fish All dishes were of the highest quality but not at all pretentious - just really good fresh food cooked simply from high quality local ingredients, served by pleasant, enthusiastic local staff. Food really sensibly priced too. We will DEFINTELY be back :-)
